About IQAC
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is instituted with a primary focus on quality benchmarks and parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the college. It aims at creating a learner-centric environment, motivating towards quality education, and encouraging faculty to adopt the knowledge of the latest technology of teaching and learning process. The vital focus of IQAC has been on instituting the culture of quality improvement through the programmes and activities organised by the college, leading to quality improvement. It acts as a nodal department for conducting activities, adoption and dissemination of best practices, devolution and maintenance of Management Information Systems (MIS) for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing institutional quality.

IQAC Initiatives
1. SDP – Standard Documentation Policy:
Objectives:
- To streamline the documentation process
- To ensure uniformity in documentation
- To facilitate compilation of documents
Outcome:
- The formats of documentation helped to streamline documenting activities in a uniform manner.
- Various Departments, forums, committees and cells followed uniformity in documenting, resulting in less ambiguity.
- The compilation of records is easily available for verification.
2. Orientation Programme for First Year Students
Objectives:
- To familiarize students with the Institution’s academic structure, rules and policies.
- To introduce students to campus facilities, support system, and student welfare mechanisms
- To promote awareness of values such as discipline, inclusivity, ethics and academic integrity.
Outcomes:
- Students gained an understanding of the institutional regulations, academic procedures, and code of conduct.
- Students became aware of the campus facilities, support services, various platforms available in the institution.
3. FDP – Faculty Development Programme
National Level Five Days Faculty Development Programme on Policy Framing in Higher Educational Institutions
Objectives:
- To bring about innovative changes in the Organization
- To understand the importance, process, and challenges of Policy making in Higher Educational Institutions
Outcomes:
- Learners identified the key functional areas that require institutional Policies
- Learners understood the significance, basic methods and frameworks in Policy making
- They recognised the challenges in Policy implementation.
4. APP – Annual Perspective Plan
Objectives:
- To systematically plan, implement, and monitor curricular and co- curricular activities
- To ensure effective curriculum delivery with advanced teaching – learning processes.
- To ensure timely achievement of institution academic goals.
Outcomes:
- Curricular and Co – curricular activities were organised and executed in a structured, time bound manner.
- Students experienced continued involvement in Curricular and Co – curricular activities.
- No overlapping of events or activities helped students in gaining better opportunities.
5. Infrastructure Audit
Objectives:
- To evaluate the condition, adequacy and safety of buildings, classrooms, library and common area.
- To evaluate optimal utilization of available resources to support teaching – learning environment.
- To identify gaps and areas requiring upgradation or maintenance in infrastructure facilities
Outcomes:
- Identified priority areas for renovations, expansion or technological enhancement.
- Enhanced teaching – learning environment through better classroom facilities, ICT integrations, and laboratory modernizations.
- A comprehensive infrastructure status report with data driven observations and recommendations was made available.
6. Library Audit
Objectives:
- To examine the condition of library infrastructure and reading facilities.
- To verify the physical stock of books and other reading materials.
Outcome:
- Identified missing, damaged and outdated books.
- Verified the condition of library infrastructure and other facilities.
7. Academic Audit – PACE – Plan Action Control & Evaluation
Objectives:
- To provide a framework for all the members of the faculty to document the academic work in a methodical manner.
- To ensure scientific and methodical monitoring of progress of academic work.
- To enable to comprehend the effectiveness of course instructed.
- To ensure orderly documentation and revival of teaching and learning work.
Outcomes:
- Faculty members were able to systematically record and organise their academic activities using a standardized documentation framework.
- Institution is able to monitor, evaluate and track the progress of academic work in a scientific and structures manner.
- Teaching – Learning processes will be properly documented, preserved and easily retrieved, ensuring continuity, accountability and quality enhancement.
8. FDP – Faculty Development Programme
A Five - Day Faculty Development Programme on Enhancing Research & Academic Writing Skills for Research Papers and Funded Projects
Objectives:
- To expose the participants to contemporary and cutting-edge research methods and strategies.
- To empower the participants to improve the quality of research paper and dissertations.
- To help the participants in enhancing the quantum of research publications in High Impact Journals.
Outcomes:
Programme facilitated the participants to:
- Understand the nuances of academic writing and multiple aspects of research ethics.
- Understood the process of submitting and publishing papers in various high impact journals.
- Exposure to contemporary and cutting – edge research techniques.
9. Three Day Special Session on ‘Pranahuthi Aided Meditation’
Objectives:
- To promote mental wellbeing and reduce work related stress among teachers.
- To enhance focus, concentration, and emotional balance.
- To create a positive and harmonious work environment.
Outcomes:
- Improved stress management and emotional stability among teachers.
- Enhanced concentration and classroom effectiveness.
- Built better inter-personal relationships within the institution.
